My Story

Picture this: A kid (me!) growing up in Singapore’s hawker stalls, where my grandma’s nasi lemak was basically my babysitter and the smell of chili paste was my perfume. Fast-forward 30 years (yikes, I’m old), and I’m still elbow-deep in the food world—but now, I’m bouncing between Singapore and Cambodia like a dumpling in a steamer basket. 🇸🇬❤️🇰🇭
For the past 20 years, Cambodia’s stolen my heart (and my stomach). I’ve slurped nom banh chok with moto-taxi drivers at 6 AM, debated the proper way to eat prahok with Cambodian friends in Battambang, and maybe—maybe—ate my weight in Kampot pepper crab. (No regrets.)
About this blog i will take one bite at a time! Breaking down food industry topics into digestible pieces.
